Designed to be made using fabric and leather (genuine or faux) or cork fabric, this bag is the perfect scrap busting project. Learn how to add a zipper and a slip pocket, a recessed zipper closure, pre-made piping and an adjustable shoulder strap.

Finished Bag Size: 11” High x 12” Wide x 3” Deep (28 cms H x 30 cms W x 8 cms D)

Pattern Level: Advanced Beginner. Some experience with zips is beneficial.

Hardware

• 2 x 1” (2.5 cm) D Rings
• 2 x 1” (2.5 cm) Swivel Clips
• 1 x 1” (2.5 cm) Slider

Fabric

• 1 yard (90 cms) exterior fabric
• 1 yard (90 cms) lining fabric
  Leather/Cork (Optional) You may choose leather or cork fabric as a contrast for the gusset ½ yard/ ½ metre

Interfacing

• 1 yard x 57” Wide (90 cm L x 145 cm W) foam based stabiliser (Soft and Stable or similar)
• 1 yard (90 cms) mid weight iron on interfacing
• ¼ yard (22cms) fusible fleece

Pre-made piping 38” (95 cms) Length. Preferred size is ¼” (.6 cms)
Zippers

• 1 x 15” (38 cms) #5 YKK Handbag Zipper
• 1 x 6” (15 cms) zipper for zipper pocket
