Featuring clean lines and a front focal pocket, The Abstract Tote is designed for those who like a bag which makes an impact. Mix and match your favourite fabrics with cork or leather and carry them with you, everyday in this gorgeous bag.
Designed to be made using fabric and leather (genuine or faux) or cork fabric, this bag is the perfect scrap busting project. Learn how to add a zipper and a slip pocket, a recessed zipper closure, pre-made piping and an adjustable shoulder strap. The pattern includes
two optional extras, add a wristlet strap or tassel to finish. This is the perfect introduction to sewing with leather (genuine or faux).

Pattern Requirements
To make 1 x Abstract Tote you will require the following;
• 1 Yard exterior fabric
• 1 Yard lining fabric
• Leather/Cork (optional) 1/2 Yard
• 1 Yard x 57” W wide foam based stabiliser (Soft and Sable or similar)
• 1 Yard iron on mid weight interfacing
• 1/4 Yard fusible fleece
• Pre-made Piping 38” L, prefered size 1/4”
• 1 x 15” #5 YKK Handbag Zipper
• 1 x 6” Zipper for zipper pocket
• Hardware: 2 x 1” D Ring
2 x 1” Swivel Clips
1 x 1” Slider
Pattern Level: Intermediate, some experience sewing with zippers and layers is beneficial
