The Matilda Saddle Bag is designed with the busy Mum in mind. This funky crossbody bag is the perfect size to hold your purse, phone, keys and sunglasses allowing you to remain hands free while you chase little people and do all that you need to do as a busy Mum!

You can easily add your own flair to The Matilda Saddle Bag with piping, mix and match fabric and leather or even a tassel!
The Matilda Saddle Bag is a medium crossbody bag that is big on style. The flap on this bag is a great way to display your favourite fabrics and can be easily adapted to include embroidery, applique or other ideas that take your fancy! The curvy gusset gives the Matilda a unique shape that is comfortable to carry, making it the perfect everyday bag!

Included are two bonus tutorials for a strap connector option and gusset overlay giving you lots of options to customise your bag.

Pattern Requirements:
• Fabric:
Exterior Fabric: ½ yard exterior fabric x 54”
Lining Fabric: ½ yard lining fabric x 54”
• Interfacing: Mid weight fusible interfacing woven: ½ yard
Fusible Fleece: ½ yard
• Zippers: 1 x 8” #5 Zipper
• Piping (optioonal): 72” Length
• Hardware:
1 x Magnetic snap
2 x 1” D-Rings for the connector straps
2 x 1” Swivel Clips
1 x 1” Strap Adjuster
• Leather/Cork/Vinyl (optional): approx 10” x 12” (for gussett option), smaller for connectors only
• Double Sided Tape

Pattern Level: Advanced Beginner, some experience sewing with layers and zippers is helpful.

Finished Size: 8” High x 10” Wide

Seam Allowance: ¼” (6mm) unless otherwise stated, pattern pieces include the seam allowance.
